Los Angeles River Educational Centers
Ask yourself when was the first time you learned or heard that Los Angeles had a river. Also, try and remember when or if you ever visited a part of the river. Chances are you learned about it at a later time in your life, and not at an early age. Because of this, mile 38 was the focus point of a design that would get people to learn about the river. This educational program works with schools from all over LA county. Not only will the program get people of all ages to be aware and learn about the river, but the program teaches all about how an individual can make a difference in making the river a better, safer, cleaner place.
